Kralendijk - Shooting with an injured person

On Sunday, February 2nd, around 7:35 PM, the emergency dispatch center received a report of a shooting near Kaya Grandi and Kaya L.D. Gerharts. A passing car was shot at with a firearm. The driver was injured and went to the hospital for medical treatment. He was responsive. The KPCN Forensic Investigation team investigated the scene. The victim's car has been impounded for further investigation. Police are asking anyone who saw, heard, or knows anything about the incident to contact them at 715 8000 or the anonymous tip line 9310.

Burglary at tourist accommodation

On Sunday, February 2nd, a burglary was reported at a tourist accommodation on Bulevar Julio A. Abraham. Unknown persons gained access to the apartment between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM and stole, among other things, a red beauty case with its contents, several cards, two black Sony MX4 headphones, a white Apple AirPods, a MacBook Air M2, a DJI Mini PRO 4 drone in a black case, and a dark green/blue Eastpack bag containing a black MacBook Pro, keys, and a black UNIQLO jacket. The case is under investigation.

Abuse

On Friday, January 31st, around 10:40 PM, the central dispatch center received a report of an assault at the stadium on Kaya Bototé in Rincón. A soccer player allegedly attacked the referee during a match. The victim was injured and taken to the hospital for medical treatment. By the time police arrived, the suspect had already fled. The case is under investigation.

On Friday, January 31st, a robbery was reported at Altamira Unjo in Rincón. An unknown man robbed a tourist and stole cash, a driver's license, and a ship card. After the robbery, the unknown man fled into the bushes and disappeared. The situation has come to the attention of the police.
