Arrest for Driving Under the Influence SABA
On Tuesday, the 5th of August, around 5:55 PM, a 47-year-old woman with the initials D.A.J. was arrested on Samuel A. Charles Street on Saba for driving under the influence of alcohol. She was involved in a two-vehicle collision.
In accordance with the 'botsen is blazen’ policy, both drivers were required to take a breathalyzer test. The suspect with the initials D.A.J. tested above the legal limit for alcohol consumption. Her driver's license was immediately confiscated. The other driver was unable to perform the breathalyzer test and was taken to the police station for further investigation.
