Arrest for assault EUX
On Saturday, the 29th of August, at around 1:45 PM, a 37-year-old man with the initials K.A.C. was arrested at the police station on Father van Tefelenweg on St. Eustatius for assault. The suspect had assaulted a minor. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
Traffic Control EUX
On Friday, the 28th of August, at around 10:45 AM, a traffic control was held on Father van Tevelenweg on St. Eustatius. During this control, fifteen (15) vehicles were checked for the required documentation. The majority of the drivers had their documents in order. A few drivers received a warning for failing to carry the required documents and for driving without a seatbelt.
The Caribbean Netherlands Police Force (KPCN) reminds drivers to always carry the necessary documentation and to wear a seatbelt while driving. Traffic controls will continue in order to enforce traffic compliance and promote road safety.
